A little bar of handmade soap, wrapped in wool and felted by hand.
Our felted soaps combine a nourishing handmade soap bar with a layer of natural wool that has been carefully wet-felted around the soap. The result is soap and washcloth in one, easy to hold, beautifully tactile and gently exfoliating as you wash.
The wool creates a soft, textured surface that helps lift away dry, dull skin while working the soap into a rich lather. As the soap is used, the wool gradually shrinks with it, keeping the bar snug inside rather than leaving you with those frustrating little soap slivers.
Each one is handmade, so no two felted soaps will be exactly alike. The wool colours, patterns and shape may vary slightly, that’s part of their charm.
How to care for your felted soap
Let it dry.
This is the most important part. Wool is wonderfully absorbent, so allow your felted soap to dry out fully between uses.
Don’t leave it sitting in water.
Keep it on a draining soap dish or somewhere the water can escape. Avoid leaving it in a puddle or sitting in a constantly wet shower.
Give it some air.
A little airflow will help both the wool and the soap dry properly and will help your bar last longer.
Be gentle with the wool.
There’s no need to scrub aggressively. Let the texture of the felt do the work.
As the soap gets smaller
Don’t be surprised as your felted soap changes shape over time. The wool will continue to shrink and tighten around the soap as the bar is used.
Eventually, the soap inside will be gone and you’ll be left with a small piece of felted wool. Rather than throwing it away, it can be kept and used as a little scrubber or soap pouch.
A little note about handmade
Every Farm Raised 5 felted soap is hand-felted, so each one is individual. Small variations in shape, colour, pattern and texture are to be expected.

HOW TO USE
HOW TO USE
Wet your felted soap under warm water.
Rub it between your hands or gently work it directly over your skin until a lovely lather develops.
Use the wool-covered bar just as you would a washcloth and soap combined. The wool provides gentle exfoliation as you cleanse.
When you’re finished, rinse the bar and gently squeeze out excess water.
Then leave it somewhere with good airflow to dry completely between uses.
